Simply lift the tablet and rod out of the spring-loaded recessed hole, unscrew and replace the rod, and set it back into the hole. A built-in cup holder keeps hands free for writing or typing while minimizing the possibility for spills. These chairs are being used in a retail and cafe' business. The chairs came packaged really well and we did not have any damages. The chairs are of good weight and I was very pleased with the quality of chairs and would definitely purchase them again.
